Pernilla armchair by Bruno Mathsson for Dux (Sweden), 1960s. It is an improved version of Pernilla's original version, designed in 1944. The armchair features a minimalist, organic design with a curved seat and backrest. It is made of bent beech plywood (in the 1940s it was a progressive design), canvas and virgin wool upholstery woven with a delicate Pepito pattern similar to the original. It is truly one of the most comfortable lounge chairs of the 20th century, perfectly modeled on the human body. The wooden and canvas parts are in their original condition with slight traces of use. All the padding has been redone. The upholstery is new and has been redone according to the original model. Small natural signs of use have been left which do not ruin the aesthetics of the piece and only confirm its originality. Seat height: 40 cm. Backrest height: 85 cm. Armrest height: 55 cm.
