Elegant and classic hand-blown Murano glass chandelier in the style of Barovier & Toso. The chandelier is composed of two elements: the dome, made with the technique called 'ice', which gives the glass a cracked appearance, and the body. Consisting of the rod, created in twisted Murano glass, and the rosette, made of rosted glass. To obtain the 'ice' effect of the dome, the glassmakers immerse the hot glass in cold water for a few seconds and then put it back into the furnace. This gives the diffused light a very special appearance. Then decorated with elements in delicate shades of pink. A beautiful chandelier, filling the room with a soft, warm and welcoming light. A truly unique piece. In vintage, truly excellent condition.
