Item description

Sideboard attributed to Vittorio Dassi. The elegantly ovalised base narrows towards the centre. Profiled and outlined above by ebonizing, below by brass plate. The base accommodates two vase-shaped columns carved in a thousand rows and ebonised, which support the body of the cabinet. The sideboard is sinuous with its curved sides and rounded ashlars. Masterfully crafted in solid wood and veneered in rosewood. It has four doors in the centre with three compartments with shelves and drawers.
