Table lamp mod. Atollo 235 by Vico Magistretti for Oluce, 1970s. Lamp with direct and diffused light in opaline Murano glass, with universal dimmer. Designed in 1977 by Magistretti, Atollo has become the archetype of the table lamp over the years, winning the Compasso d'Oro in 1979 and completely revolutionizing the way of imagining the classic lampshade. The geometric shapes that compose it - the cylinder, the cone and the hemisphere - have given life to a decorative and essential product at the same time, disconnected from the historical period from the fashions of the moment and which has now fully become one of the icons of Italian design. The Atollo was designed in multiple sizes and different materials. This is the largest and most refined version, as it is also illuminated in the cylindrical body. Furthermore, it is not recently produced or new but an authentic and vintage piece.
