Antique sculpture group depicting St. Anne, St. Joachim and the Madonna child. Naples 19th century. The group is represented according to classical iconography with St. Anne on the right, St. Joachim on the left and the Madonna child in the centre. All three sculptures rest on a contemporary gilded wooden base and have terracotta heads with crystal eyes while the hands and feet are made of polychrome wood. The clothing, jewellery and bell are original to the period. Provenance: 19th century Naples. Bell diameter 35 cm, bell height 80 cm. Certificate of Authenticity.
