Item description

Elegant antique Syrian corner piece made of carved walnut with shell inlays, late 19th cent. It is constructed of hand-carved walnut wood. The wood is carved with an intricate geometric design and has sporadic shell inlays. The front features open compartments, drawers nor doors in the lower area. Refined and elegant are the openwork elements, the inserts formed by small turned parts fitted together. The corner piece is in good condition with slight signs of wear commensurate with its age. They measure cm 75 x 45 x height 180.
