Teak chest of drawers by Steens (Denmark), 1960s. This elegant yet spacious eight-compartment chest of drawers is a classic example of mid-century modern design. The original manufacturer's label on the back confirms its origin. Typical of the Steens style, with a reduced number of handles with a linear and simple profile, it has minimalist and geometric lines and a timeless design. Ideal for the bedroom or living room. This size of chest of drawers is quite rare and offers a lot of storage space with its eight drawers. The top drawer is lockable with an original key included. The wonderful and perfectly matched teak veneer on the front exposes its beautiful grain, while the tapered solid teak legs highlight its Scandinavian origin. It has been carefully checked: the drawers are clean and work smoothly. The piece is in excellent original condition with very slight traces of use, renewed with an additional layer of Danish oil. Height from the ground: 20 cm. Internal height of the drawers: 10 cm.
