Lounge designed by Gio Ponti for Isa Bergamo. An elegant living room composed of a three-seater sofa and two armchairs with high backs and refined curved lines with an unmistakable design. Made in the 1950s, it excellently represents the refined and sober style of the period. Designed by Gio Ponti one of Italy's greatest architects and designers, who dictated the style of post-war Italian design and still sets the standard today for innovation, flair and beauty. Produced by ISA Industria Salotti e Arredamenti founded in the late 1940s in Ponte San Pietro, a village outside Bergamo. In the 1950s, thanks to the success achieved by producing to the designs of great designers such as Gio Ponti and Guglielmo Veronesi, ISA increased production to 400 workers. The living room is in excellent state of preservation, the wooden structure is original and intact and has no defects. The upholstery has just been replaced with a steel-blue and deep forest-green silk velvet, which makes it modern but at the same time classic and elegant. This living room is a piece of design history and can be combined with both modern and antique furniture. Price for the entire living room.
