A functional Royal system teak wall system by Poul Cadovius from the 1960s is a one-bay composition, ideal for a small living room or bedroom. A cabinet and a large display cabinet provide ample storage space and allow books or decorations to be displayed. It is suitable for vinyl lovers to display gramophones and vinyl records. Two wooden rails with slanted holes - a signature of the early Cadovius wall units - provide an easy assembly system with various arrangement possibilities. The set features brilliant joinery and showcases the rich teak wood grain. The slightly sloping profile of the edges of the wall units demonstrates Danish craftsmanship. Cadovius considers the Cado system one of its most exclusive and successful designs. The system is easy to mount on the wall: each component is mounted on dowel holes without any visible suspension. This vintage wall-mounted furniture is entirely modular and allows furniture to be positioned as required. The configuration shown is only an example. The set consists of: a cabinet with sliding doors and two drawers and interior shelves; H:52 / W: 80 / D: 46 cm; drawer height: 3 cm; a cabinet with glass doors H: 65 / W: 80 / D: 30 cm; 2 wooden rails, each 200 cm long. Our team thoroughly checked the wall unit. All parts fit together and the interior is clean, with doors and drawers sliding smoothly. The manufacturer's serial numbers and Made in Denmark engravings are retained, confirming the origin. The wall cabinet is in fantastic vintage condition with slight signs of use, the wood has been coated with additional layers of Danish oil.
