Iconic and highly collectible, this plate was made by the history of Italian design. Gio Ponti is one of the most important Italian architects and designers of the post-war period who is highly sought after in the collector's world. Cleto Munari began his career in design after a chance meeting with Carlo Scarpa. Engraved signature of Gio Ponti on the front and engraved Munari's and manufacturer's logos on the back. The object is in excellent condition and has the patina of time that can be removed by polishing the brass if desired.
