Stem richly decorated with Renaissance-style elements including acanthus leaves, spirals and vine branches, from which vine leaves and bunches of grapes grow. Three frets complete the ornamental display. Manufacture mark on the base "Manifattura di Signa",
"1472 C". The Manifattura di Signa is a historic terracotta ceramic workshop, created in 1895 by will of Camillo Bondi in the premises of the “Fornaci di Signa” factory owned by his brother Angelo.
A distinctive feature of the manufacture was the taste for
Renaissance shapes and decorations, recovered and re-proposed with high craftsmanship.
