Neapolitan Empire coffee table in walnut-root, early 19th century. The octagonal-shaped top features a central inlay depicting a basket of flowers made of polychrome woods and mother-of-pearl. The under-top band includes a small drawer with maple bottoms typical of the Neapolitan cabinet-making tradition. The foot consists of a central trunk terminating in a square base resting on pad feet. Restored by our master craftsmen with traditional handmade shellac and alcohol method.
