Renaissance style terracotta fountain made in Tuscany in the early 19th century. Engraved are the artist's initials, “I. B.”. The fountain rests on a solid circular base depicting four large crabs. Above, water gushes from four koi, and there are shells and two standing individuals supporting the large basin with two flying fish heads from which water gushes; in the center emerges a Venus surrounded by a dolphin. Original patina. The base has been fixed.
