4 Chairs in wood and fabric by Radomír Hofman for TON, 1960s
SILVER Seller in Praha, Czechia
Set of four chairs by Radomír Hofman for TON Bystřice pod Hostýnem (successor to Thonet in former Czechoslovakia after World War II), 1960s. They are made of curved plywood, have beech wood frames and are upholstered with fabric. An interesting example of Czechoslovak design after the great success of the country's pavilion at Expo 58 in Brussels. The chairs are overall in very good condition, the wood shows signs of time and use, the seats have new fabric. Seat height: 46 cm.
