Pair of green Murano glass calla lily-shaped vases, 1990s. Made of hand-blown glass, using the submerged glass technique; a technique that is achieved by creating multiple layers of glass, within a single object. A layer of green and milky on the inside and a transparent one on the outside was used to make these two vases, enriched with lighter details in a swirl that creates an almost movement effect. At the base present engraved “Murano 98” inscription. Excellent condition, very lightly used with minimal signs of time and wear.
