A large arched floor lamp with a handmade shade was designed in the late 1950s and 1960s in Italy. The exquisite rarity of this design lies in the use of organically bent walnut wood, a feature rarely seen in contemporary times. This aesthetic finds affinity with famous designers such as Carlo Mollino, Gio Ponti, Ico Parisi, Max Ingrand and Angelo Lelii, who embraced the philosophy of organic design. The lampshade consists of cotton strips wrapped around a metal frame. It was handmade and remade according to the original. The lamp underwent a complete restoration, which included rewiring for greater functionality and a new switch. The wood was carefully cleaned, sanded and protected with professional compounds to enhance its beauty.
