Large and elegant lamp made of Murano glass and canes from the "Tessuti" series and chromed metal base.
The lamp was designed by Mario Ticcò, a designer who collaborated with Venini in the 70s to create various lamps.
The Venini glassworks was founded by Paolo Venini and Giacomo Cappelin, it is perhaps the most famous Murano glassworks thanks to its collaboration with numerous designers who have made its vases famous and collectible. The Boletus Model was created in different decorative versions and in different sizes, this is the largest size.
It does not have the manufacturer's mark as was usual for lamps of the time but is present in the catalog raisonné of the lighting produced by Venini. The lamp is in perfect state of conservation,
has no breakages or defects and is perfectly functional.
