SILVER Seller in Torino, Italy
Dampierre model vase designed by Marc Lalique for Lalique. Small vase in crystalline and satin glass with small sparrows as decoration. Designed in the 1950s by Marc Lalique, son of Rene Lalique. Under Marc's guidance in the 1950s, Lalique France switched from using glass to using crystal, creating contrasts between transparent and satin, which make Lalique crystals distinctive. Lalique was founded in France in 1888 by jeweler Renè Lalique. The vase is in excellent conservative conditions and has no defects. It features the Lalique France engraved signature under the base.
