Pair of table lamps produced by Salviati & Co. Elegant bottle-shaped lamps with Murano glass structure and chrome-plated metal base and details. Produced by the Murano glassworks Salviati & Co. Salviati & Co. was founded in 1859 by Antonio Salviati and started producing artistic mosaics. It was thanks to Antonio Salviati's enormous skills and expertise that aventurine glass, flame glass and opaline glass were born in the late 1860s. When he died in 1890, Salviati was considered the main architect of the revival of the glass industry in Venice. One of the two bottles bears the label Salviati & Co. The lamps are in excellent state of preservation and have no defects. The lampshades are not present.
