Item description

Large and rare pair of prints made with the etching technique within Empire style gilded wooden frames. One depicts "Telemachus' farewell to Eucharis" and the other "Telemachus and the Nymphs". The two works were printed by Alfred Chardon, published by Framcois Delaure in Paris and engraved by Louis René Lucien Rollet (1809 - 1862). The subjects are taken from the pictorial works of Henri Frederic Schopin (1804 - 1880). Objects of great decorative and furnishing effect, they are in excellent condition and still have the original blown glass. The dimensions are as follows: 122 x 93 cm. France, mid-19th century.
