Item description

Large six-door screen in wood lacquered red on one side and black on the other. On one side depictions of outdoor life with female figures and plant elements. The reverse, in black lacquer, bears decorations with flowering racemes painted in gold. All decorations are defined by a refined engraved carving that outlines the shapes of the subjects represented. The support feet, square in shape, are covered with a brass finish. China, early 20th century. The dimensions are: height 183 cm, each panel measures 41 cm.
