Item description
The print is a litography with a print run of 150 copies, in very good condition. The litography print bears the print number in the lower left margin and the artist's hand signature in the right margin on the front..Only one copy is available; print edition 80/150.Deceased on 1 August 2017 in his room in Bologna, Concetto Pozzati began as an informal artist and then moved away from the artistic current with the aim of finding a clearer definition of the image. At only 28 years old, he participated in the 32nd edition of the Venice Biennale, a Biennale that marked the debut of American Pop Art in Italy, which in Pozzati's language is identified above all in the definition of space and the layout of objects that become icons of contemporaneity. In Pozzati's Pop works, and prints, we find some typical elements such as very strong blues and canary yellows that emerge against gray backgrounds, not to mention a curious arrangement of objects that, due to a lack of depth, makes them appear suspended.
