Bastiano is a model that combines design and elegance with straight lines and rounded corners, all made with quality materials.
Produced in 1962 by Gavina and subsequently re-edited by Knoll who purchased the rights in 1968.
Gavina spa was founded by Dino Gavina in 1960, and he gave its artistic direction to Carlo Scarpa.
Conceived and designed by the architect and designer Tobia Scarpa, son of the famous architect Carlo Scarpa.
The set is in excellent state of conservation, no structural defects.
It shows slight and obvious signs of aging on the structure, and some signs of aging on the leather which is all perfectly intact and without tears.
The photo highlights two slight thickenings, invisible if not looked for, of the skin, a pure consequence of being in her sixties.
