Wonderful and rare antique umbrella/stick holder vase signed Ceramica Aretini from the 1950s, made of ceramic and hand painted, embellished with pure gold finishing, found two chips but nothing serious, see photo, very beautiful and of notable scenographic impact, thanks also to the details created with accuracy and refinement, ideal as a furnishing object, any lighter areas are due to the reflection of artificial light, conditions as shown in the photo. Dimensions: height cm. 47 - width cm. 30 History of Aretini Ceramica: Ceramica Aretini was a small ceramic factory founded in 1918 by Zulimo Aretini, descendant of an ancient family of Umbrian potters. The factory almost completely suspended production during the war years to restart it in the following years, remaining in the same location until 1950 when it moved to Cameri, near Novara, whose workers were inspired and dominated by the exuberant creativity of the master, whose production from this period are artistic ceramics, made up of valuable artefacts, glazed and decorated with pure gold or metallic lustre, made to mainly satisfy the demands of the foreign market.
