Item description
Antique French provincial LXVI style chest of drawers, with rectangular wooden top and parallelepiped frame with three drawers divided by crosspieces, supported by inverted obelisk legs. The piece of furniture is externally decorated with a later patinated and aged white lacquer decoration, with ash blue piping along the perimeter of the top and drawers and along the profiles in the narrowings of the legs. The subsequent lacquering appears aged and patinated with a craquelure and abrasion effect, from which another light blue colored substrate shines through, and other darker patinas with a worn, worn antique effect, giving the chest of drawers a timeless decorative and scenographic charm. The insides of the drawers are polished in wood colour. The structure of the furniture is entirely made of wood, the main essence is solid pine. Hardware with circular handles with style ring, and period locks with working keys.
