5 paintings from the 50s by the artist Giuseppe Ruggeri known as “Beppe” (Turin 1933-Mortola 2007), the paintings depicting the characters are made with the oil color technique on masonite, (115h.x80, the pair 55h.x72), the horses and the house are tempera paintings on paper (74h.x104, 55h.x74). After a period dedicated to painting in the 1960s he discovered his passion for sculpture by frequenting the workshop of his friend Victor Cerrato in the medieval village of Valentino in Turin. His exhibitions were numerous, the last in 1999 in the former church of San Francesco in Cuneo "Contemporary Identities" dedicated to the most significant artists of the Cuneo area active between the 50s and 70s.
