Victorian Mid-Century Chaise Longue or Daybed with New Linen blend Capitonnè Upholstery, 1950s Beautiful chaise longue or daybed, original from the 50's, England. The chaise longue has been completely refurbished on the inside and reupholstered on the outside with a high-quality linen blend fabric. The original manufacture with capitonné technique has been retained as original. The internal cage and the legs are made of wood, painted in cream white. The feet and castors are made of strong solid brass and roll perfectly. A beautiful original vintage piece in top quality and with a new look. Just little signs of wear and use at the legs.(please check the photos)
