We are pleased to present to you this beautiful and significant antique round dining table, crafted from solid walnut in the mid-19th century. Designed to be both functional and elegant, this dining table features a central extension mechanism allowing you to host larger gatherings numerous. The imposing central leg is finely turned and adorned with intricate carvings of fruit and leaves, supported by four sturdy feet that guarantee stability and style. When the table is fully extended, two small turned legs on the sides lower to increase stability, making it perfect for entertaining and convivial dinners.
Please note that the original plans for the center of the table, necessary for the extension, are currently missing. However, we offer the ability to create custom center plans in our carpentry workshop upon request, prior to purchase. The table top is presented in raw wood, giving it a rustic look that fits perfectly into country or mountain homes. If you wish, we can also apply a more refined finish to enhance the elegance of the table.
When fully extended, the table measures 210 cm (approximately 82.68 inches) in length, making it ideal for hosting family gatherings or convivial dinners. Price negotiable.
