English sideboard from the second half of the 19th century. Furniture in wood and papier mâché, finely lacquered and hand painted with very pleasant characters and floral decorations. Two-door sideboard equipped with a stand with turned columns and a small upper shelf, of good capacity and service. Base cabinet, ideal for a living room or study, for antique dealers and interior designers. The scenes with romantic characters are beautiful (see photo). It has an old stamp from a Dublin company on the back (see photo) which is still clearly legible. Structurally sound, it shows some signs of aging. Difficult to find and of great quality, overall in good state of conservation.
