Item description
Stunning and rare Italian wall mounted sideboard and/or chest of drawers with mirror, very well designed by Vittorio Dassi in the 1950s, crafted with a gorgeous material like as warm teak wood. All items designed and manufactured by Vittorio Dassi are always stylish and charming, and the uniqueness of these pieces are given by the sculptural shape design of the sideboard and in addition the presence of mirror with wooden edges so stylish. The sideboard has on the top a drop-leaf door, very well finished in front with superb slatted details ebonized, even called 'grissinatura'. Both are amazing and versatile items of midcentury Italian design and they would be a great addition to any modern interior decor, for home as well as office. Both pieces are ready to use and in very good conditions of the period as the images show, with slight signs of wear consistent with age and gentle use. The external surfaces of the cabinet have been polished with shellac recently.
