Item description
Pencil on paper. Signed lower left; title lower right. On the back is a label from the Galleria Gian Ferrari in Milan, with the artist\'s name and title. Guido Tallone, son of Cesare Tallone, devoted himself mainly to portraiture in the first phase of his life. After the Second World War, his production also developed into genre scenes, portraits of objects dear to him or of his everyday life. His works are distinguished by rapid brushstrokes and bright, brilliant colours, strongly influenced by Impressionism. In this case, a pencil sketch of a dog is presented, called by name, and portrayed on the boat - of which only the bow is sketched - probably a companion on one of the artist\'s trips. Framed.
