Pair of Mid-Century Stefan lounge chairs, 60s

This set of two armchairs, model Stefan, manufactured in the 1960s in Poland by Swarzędzka Fabryka Mebli. The frame of the armchairs is made of solid beech wood and has been professionally and carefully restored by removing old coatings, staining and finishing with varnish. The cushions have been re-made and upholstered in a beige fabric made of a mixture of linen, cotton and viscose, resembling in its texture materials originally used in the 1960s. New upholstery belts were also installed. Stefan armchairs were also sold in the 1960s by Ikea and produced for it by Polish furniture factories. Seat height: 43 cm
