Wonderful bar cabinet belonging to the Torcello series, designed by Afra and Tobia Scarpa for Stildomus in the 1960s, a perfect example of rational and sophisticated design. This collection of furniture is distinguished by the masterful use of solid wood, combined with a robust and elegant construction, in line with the design philosophy of the spouses Scarpa. The Torcello series is based on high quality essential shapes and materials. The wood, in this case rosewood, is worked with extreme care to highlight the natural veins and the solidity of the structure. An iconic element of this collection is the system of aluminum interlocking joints, visible in the connection points between floors, which highlight the refined artisan approach of the shoe.
