Item description
Beautiful and elegant Diplomatic Desk of large size in paneled rosewood, early 20th century. Richly dressed in important gilded bronzes all screwed in. Finished in the round, it has three drawers on the front, two with handles, and the central one with nozzle and lock and on the back the same handles and nozzle in the function of false drawers. The 4 crossbars are jagged and the top, curvilinear and covered with leather surrounded by a slab, is enclosed by a beautiful bronze profile, which makes the object even more elegant. All parts are in an excellent state of preservation including the leather and the gilding of the bronze. The lock, with its key, is functional.
