Pekingese polychrome porcelain Goldscheider hand painted, produced in Austria in the '30s. The Pekingese is an ancient dog breed, attested in sources as early as 4000 years. Its Chinese name 福狗 fúgǒu, means dog of the blessing, therefore perfect in the role of tutelary genius of the house.
