Item description
Small and graceful pair of wall sconces with the typical balloon shape. The brass structure is enriched by refined decorations depicting soft garlands, the entire frame of each sconce is adorned with lead crystals, cut, ground, and faceted, joined together manually by metal wires. The shape of the two sconces is the classic balloon type of the Louis XVI period. They were handcrafted between 1905 and 1910 by an unknown craftsman in the suburbs of Paris. The sconces have a single point of light, but when lit, the ground crystals refract the light with infinite facets, and enchanting reflections are created that enhance their decorative effect. The electrical system is working but the wiring is European, the compatibility of the voltage in other countries must always be checked by an electrician before use.
