The photos with the lampshades are explanatory only. Magnificent, elegant and imposing French floor lamp; the stem is composed of refined hand-blown glass elements interspersed with fine brass dot decorations; the solid square base is made of brass with lion's paw feet; it is lit by a floor button; the various pieces were then assembled, creating the stem, with exceptional aesthetic taste, studying their positioning to exploit the light and the refractions of the crystals; all in all, long and delicate operations that made the magnificence of this lamp possible. The lamp was made between 1947 and 1949 in a craft workshop in the area between the Moselle and the Vosges (France) where famous companies such as Meisenthal, Lemberg, Potyruc, Baccarat, Valle le Chatel, and Sant-Louis-lès Bitche created the magic of crystal and glass, bringing to the world an image of refined beauty. The lamp is supplied without a shade so that everyone can choose their own colour to match their décor. The electrical installation is new but the wiring is European, the compatibility of the voltage in other states should always be checked by an electrician before use.
