Important sixteenth-century painting to be attributed to the Lombard school of the sixteenth century. The painting depicting the Madonna and Child is painted on the back of another painting dating back to the previous century with a clear Renaissance taste, datable to the first half of the 15th century (1430 CA). The painting on the back depicts a noble patron kneeling before the virgin with the blessing Child. The painting on the front (Madonna with Child) is in a good state of conservation, small drops of color and cracks of the time, small lack in the lower left, the painting has suffered previous restorations; currently the pictorial surface is clean. consolidated and the static of the color is good. The work on the back has some shortcomings that mostly affect the part of the background. Works restored with reversible conservative restoration. The work is inserted in an important wooden frame, carved and gilded. Table size: 42.4 X 50.3 cm
