Pair of Superleggera chairs in wood and velvet by Gio Ponti for Cassina. The Superleggera chair is so named for its weight similar to that of a feather of only 1700 grams. These two chairs were produced in the 1970s, upholstered in smooth black velvet to complement the black lacquered wooden structure.
