Isotta lamp by G. Gentile for Sormani in glass and thermoformed plastic, 1971

The Isotta lamp, produced by the Nucleo division of Sormani, is a splendid example of a fusion between the ancient technique of blown glass and the then avant-garde technology of thermoforming, to create furniture and accessories of industrial design made like cars. The result is a prestigious lamp, the daughter of the space age, but ultra-contemporary, with a romantic diffused light. Available in both black and white, the price refers to the individual lamp.
