A pendant light made of aluminum, manufactured by COEMAR (acronym of Costruzioni Ottiche Elettriche Marcucci). The company opened its doors in Milan, Italy, in 1933. Since the beginning, it was specialised in civil and military lighting. The production of projectors for creative lighting for which the company is still famous nowadays, started in 1970 when COEMAR was purchased by a young designer and moved to Mantua. Between 1980 and 1990, thanks to the creation of the Robot (the first projector with a moving mirror) and the launch of the NAT range (the first projectors equipped with a patented moving head), the company became leader in the performance industry. Even today, COEMAR’s products are considered some of the most innovative in the world. The label on the lamp certifies the originality of the product as well as the period of production since one can easily read the word “Milan”, where the company was founded and where it was situated until its transfer in 1970. The lamp is of great quality, perfectly functioning and in good as found condition. Traces of slight dents to the side.
