A splendid antique icon designed between the 14th and 15th centuries of Italian manufacture. The painting is on a rectangular wooden panel. The painting depicts the Virgin Mary seated on a throne with Jesus Christ in her arms. On the sides are depicted the twelve apostles within gilded circles. The Madonna is depicted wearing a purple-red mantle with a blue border. Jesus Christ is instead wearing a blue tunic. The painting is decorated with a precious gold colour. The painting is perfectly original and suitable for collectors.
