Elegant vintage teak modular bookcase by Kai Kristiansen produced by FM Mobler, Denmark, in the 1960s, validated by the original label. This shelving system is entirely modular and can be organised as required, thanks to a simple system of metal brackets that fit into the metal rails. Ten shelves and three cabinets, including a bar cabinet, provide sufficient space for storing books and decorations. An additional element that lends class and elegance to the set is a shelf with grooved glass. It consists of: one bar cabinet H: 36 / W: 86 / D: 32 cm with two interior shelves; one cabinet with sliding doors H: 36 / W: 86 / D: 32 cm; one cabinet with glass doors H: 36 / W: 86 / D: 32 cm; eight shelves 32 cm deep; two shelves 24 cm deep; five metal rails 125 cm long.
The set is in excellent vintage condition, especially after cleaning and coating with additional layers of Danish oil. Minimal signs of wear and tear. A great example of Danish carpentry skills from the mid-20th century.
