Table lamp by designer Tommaso Barbi, very rare given the delicacy of the ceramic, very different from his more recognisable leaf-shaped lamps. Brass base and swirl-worked ceramic. Fabric diffuser with small defects, obvious signs of time.
The lamp dates from the 1970s and is original of the time.
It has both an indelible stamp and an artist's label inside the base. This beautiful lamp has a larger than normal size which makes it ideal for decorating any room on its own and is perfect for adding a touch of sophistication.
