Item description

Round table attributed to Eero Saarinen, late 1970s. Consisting of a round table top in white marble with black veins (manufacture unknown) and a funnel-shaped aluminium base with the fluid and soft shapes typical of Saarinen. Marble in good condition, pedestal with light scratches and defects. It is an example of Space Age style with its futuristic, flowing lines that hint at the desire to get closer to the future and conquer space.
