Item description
Chippendale style sideboard made between the 1920s and 1940s. Walnut root veneered structure and black marble top that contrasts beautifully with the rest of the furniture. The front is moved and consists of two domed side doors and three central drawers that are also rounded. The two doors have a working lock with a key and bronze keyhole plate. The side uprights are cut and carved. The same type of wood was used to make the sides. The lower part of the front is emphasized by an element that forms a plinth. The cabinet rests on four tall arched legs, carved with acanthus leaves at the top and an elephant's foot at the base. The inside is covered with walnut like the rest of the structure.
