Umbertino round walnut table, late 19th century
SILVER Seller in Salerno, Italy
Umbertino round national walnut table, late 19th century (around 1890). Made in southern Italy by a Neapolitan craftsman. It has four "onion" feet, three at the end of each support and one in the center. The three very solid supports have the classic late 19th-century decoration traceable to the Italian Umbertino style. Typical is the central element connecting the base to the top. Solid walnut top with delicate grain. Fully restored and free of wood insects.
