Item description
"Urio" modular bookcase designed in the 1960s by Ico and Luisa Parisi for M.I.M. Roma. The bookcase consists of four modules that also have back panels that were sold as optional... they were in fact additional elements that are rarely found today. The bookcase can be assembled in different ways, with or without back panels. If these are excluded, the metal support structures will be visible (example shown in the last photo). One can also play with the position of the individual elements, deciding on their placement as required. The metal support elements can also be moved as desired. The different colour finishes are curious, deliberately juxtaposed by alternating the different wood essences. In the dark finishes the sides are light, to create a trait d'union between the colours. An additional metal support structure, identical to the others, will be added to the bookcase's packaging, allowing it to be divided into two separate units. The bookcase has been completely finished and polished, ready to be displayed. Dimensions H. 220 cm - W. 197 cm - D. 56 cm, each module is approx. 1 metre.
