Empire commode from the Lombard-Emilian area, early 19th century. High-quality solid poplar furniture entirely plated in walnut, bronze handles and leaf applications on the uprights. Simple design consisting of two and a half drawers. Contemporary nails, boards and hardware. Fully restored retaining patina and finished with beeswax.
