Item description
Table lamp in satin-finish lacquered glass designed in 1954 by the famous French master glassmaker and decorator Max Ingrand. Initially the model was called "1853" and later "Fontana", in homage to the company for which the master was artistic director for a decade. For design enthusiasts and connoisseurs of the brand's history, 1853 still remains something of a nickname. The first symbol of a timeless design object, it is still a best seller and a timeless design icon, considered the abat-jour par excellence. The special feature of Fontana is the presence of multiple light sources: the base is equipped with two E14 lights and an E27 light projects an indirect beam of light upwards. The black electrical cable is equipped with two switches and bears the inscription 'Fontana Arte'.
